A
Objective:
consultation extracts
Time
duration: (about 5 minutes each)
Part A
evaluates your ability to identify particular information during a discussion.
In which two records or discussion of health professional-patient consultations
will be given to student using which you students to complete the message on
health professional’s notes.
Part
B
Objective:
Short workplace extracts
Time
duration: (about 1 minute each)
Part B
evaluates your knowledge to distinguish the detail, basis, opinion or view of
short passages from the healthcare workplace. In this part, you will be given
six recordings passages like team instructions, handovers, or talks with health
professionals. After listening to all these six recordings you have to answer
one multiple-choice question for each passage.

Presentation extracts
Time
Duration: (about 5 minutes each)
Part C
evaluates your strength to follow a recorded presentation or interview on a
range of available healthcare topics. You will listen to two different passages
and you will answer six multiple-choice questions for each extract.
What is the similarity between IELTS and OET Score?
The scorecard for both IELTS and OET is
different from each other as in the case of IELTS marking is based on numbers
while in case of OET is grades are given. In IELTS separate score is given for
each paper which is marked out of 9. OET is ranked from A (best) to E, with a
comparable numerical score to show more precisely where in the grade a
candidate sits.
